(A credit line to Ghazi Barotha for onward disbursement of micro credit loans)

Ghazi Barotha Taraqiati Idara, a non-government organization, was incorporated on the 8th of October 1995 with the objective of area development, resettlement and rehabilitation of the people displaced by the Ghazi Barotha Hydel Power Project.

GBTI has availed the Running Finance facility from FWBL against cash collateral for which they have been provided a limit of Rs. 455 Million.

With the help of FWBL, GBTI has been providing support in following areas.

Electrification

Small and medium level credit financing

Dispensary

Hospital and veterinary services

Skill enhancement programs

Health, education and sanitation facilities

Improvement in the overall public infrastructure of the village, etc.
