On the occasion of International Women’s Day, for the first time in the FWBL’s history, the First Town Hall Meeting was held at a local hotel in Karachi, attended by nearly all employees of the Sindh and Balochistan Regions, regardless of their grades and cadres.

The theme of the event was “acknowledging our champions for their commitment”

The special announcements related to increases in salary and promotions were made by the president and CEO, Mr. Farrukh Iqbal Khan. The president opened the session for comments and suggestions. The employees highly appreciated the gesture by the president and CEO.

The Lifetime Achievement Awards were presented to the employees who retired from the bank in 2021 and 2022, while certificates of excellence were awarded to field staff as well as Head Office and Region South staff. Thereafter, a cake-cutting ceremony was held, followed by a dinner. The whole FWBL family enjoyed the event.

Earlier, Mr. Hammad of the Audit Division recited the Holy Quran to begin the occasion.

After the National Anthem, Mr. Faisal Hussain, the head of business, and Ms. Sakina Alam, the head of human resources, both spoke.
