A Pakistani student and computer prodigy, Ms. Arfa Karim shone bright on becoming the youngest Microsoft Certified Professional in 2004 at the age of 9. Her achievement was submitted to the Guinness Book of World Records, and she went on to represent Pakistan at an international level, including being invited by Bill Gates to visit Microsoft’s Headquarters in USA. For her outstanding achievements, she was awarded Pakistan’s highest literary award, the Presidential Pride of Performance, as well as the Salaam Pakistan Youth Award and Fatima Jinnah Gold Medal. Her passing is a great loss for Pakistan.
